Come hear Wisconsin (Oshkosh) author Gary Beyer and his wife and caregiver Julie’s inspirational and hope-filled presentation “Inspiring Hope in the Face of Life-Altering Circumstances” at the Waupun Senior Center. Gary was diagnosed with an incurable and currently untreatable rare form of muscle disease known as Inclusion Body Myositis (IBM) in January of 2008. His condition is progressively debilitating (and seemingly invisible to most others), but they each remain positively-focused and genuinely encouraged. His two conversationally-written, insightful and enjoyable to read books are entitled You Must Answer This and I Promise I’ll Pay Attention.
