The Waupun Fire Department will be providing “Fire Safety in the Home” training. Topics covered will included general fire safety, smoke alarms, CO alarms, and different types of fire extinguishers. There will be time at the end of the presentation for questions. Fire prevention attendees will also have the opportunity to put out a live fire if they wish, during Fire Extinguisher Training. The extinguisher simulator uses water and compressed air versus the chemical found in a regular fire extinguisher. We will cover the different types of extinguishers that are available.
